Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Nice ride. Have you looked at Veloviewer Explorer tiles? Its a lot of fun but your rides need to be on Strava with GPS. http://blog.veloviewer.com/introducing-the-explorer-cluster-and-configurable-explorer-visuals/
It looks like Camino del Aguila doesn't join up directly to Starvation Mtn Rd ? Thanks
Thanks, Bill. I'm afraid I'm a dinosaur and haven't caught onto smartphone yet (so I've only been plotting ride routes after I get home rather than using GPS tracking). :)
There is a short gap between the top of Camino del Aguilar and Starvation Mtn Rd, with two possible link ups. The lower link up is shorter, but requires cross-country hike-a-bike thru a bit of an orchard and a car gate. The upper one is a dirt lane with a car gate on top just before you hit the pavement on Starvation Mtn Rd. I'm afraid it isn't road-bike-able, being quite rough and very steep (about a 20% grader with ruts and some loose dirt). I usually take the upper connection. :)
