585.0 mi on SLR. VERY windy tempo ride with Larry, Bill, Terry and Mark.
Larry dropped back on La Canada Hill so we later discussed strategy for future. 1) Go more slowly up hill knowing that intervals are the place to push hard up hill 2) regroup at slower speed on top so last guy catches us quicker and doesn't burn so many matches.
Good strategy for the 5 of us. Maybe not so good if we get more guys involved.
No flats today! Cloth heart monitor worked well.
Cadence dropped out a half dozen times but only for 5 seconds each. Something to watch!
-We are going to ride the same 50 mi course next week. There is little need to push our distance out much since the race is only 62 miles.
-Intervals will stay on Twin Peaks. I plan to push to average 210 watts next time. We don't need longer intervals than 10 or 12, we might consider more than 5 reps. to increase total intense minutes.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
