104.7 + 2.6 miles for the rainy Slow Roll that didn't record = 107.3 total miles. My second century and longest ride to date! 😃🤩 THIS RIDE WAS EVERYTHING!! Seven of us started out of Chagrin Falls for Jessica's birthday century. N8 and I left the group @ Brandywine Falls and headed to Slavic Village for a rain-shortened Slow Roll. Polish eats and beer at the PACC. Rains calmed. Chad joined N8 and I as we rolled through the Metroparks to rejoin Jessica's ride. More rain and then some sun. Joined Jess & gang somewhere on Auburn Rd. Bike lights were aglow as we rode 11ish miles, in more rain, back to our cars. Strava read "90 miles". Google maps told me it was 10 miles to my house. Soooo...I solo rode home and hit the century mark. Jumped in my car to pick up furbaby from my sister's and she gave me pizza to take home.😋. Got home and was feeling good...decided to see how many more miles I could accomplish. 5-ish miles later, fatigue and hunger crept in. Took the most satisfying shower of my life. Ate the gifted pizza and drank some recovery juice as I stretched my legs. Goodnight! 😊😴
