Town Mtn./Elk Mtn. Bimble

A leisurely ride of the classic in-town N. AVL loop. With Barry, who I noticed while climbing Town Mtn. Rd. , is in dire need of a revised rear cogset, with 32 teeth, in order to lift his cadence and pace a little bit. Glad that we got out fairly early, as the heat/humidity conspired to make a very warm and lethargic afternoon, though we did hit Stoney Knob for lunch - the place was rammed and the food was good. I went to Kave & Teresa's on the way home for a nice visit, and an evening tamp session at Mary's Burritos. Pouring rain for 10 minutes, finally, around 9:30 pm at home.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
