Lots of construction before Lucan. Messy and slow. Coursey Line is paved for a bit then gravel but nice scenery. Scenic tour of lucan but everything closed so stopped at the Lucan Tims for refreshment. Took William st W, nice road, then Maguire St S, then Corner Dr W on to Queen St into Alisa Craig for breakfast. Nice town, good roads but locks of big trucks in/out of the co-op. Did the new ontario road, mainly smooth but instead of going to the V in Vanneck i took the Charlton gravel road - really pretty. Avoid the Denfield Rd if going N/S it is narrow, no shoulder and busy, Vanneck is better. Then forgot i was supposed to go south so had to turn around. 13 mile road is the best east-west route. Stop in Ilderton for more refreshment. Wonderland rd S was good - not too much traffic. Next time explore north and west.
