Paul Douglas Preserve MTB Ride 7-25-23

Fuel EX 9.8. Mostly sunny but hazy with wildfire smoke, humidity made it feel really hot. SW winds felt good when they made it through the trees. I got an early start with roll time at 8:40 am but I was drenched in sweat within a few minutes.

I did most of the ride on the West sections plus a dip down into the NE trails. Only saw a few other riders but I did see 6 deer, all single sightings including a small fawn. Good average speed and the legs felt good. Trail conditions were great, mostly tacky and only dusty in the full sun sections in the prairie.

Rehydration and lunch at the Assembly.
