On a cold, grey morning and with no nominated short ride leader the long ride left Uxbridge leaving five loiterers wanting to ride. We headed out to Kingshill for coffee at the Café Esrela Do Norte.
After coffee Jane, Clive and John J left to return home and Jim and I went in search of a pint and food ending up at The Perivale Farm PH.
Venturing back into the cold we discovered Jim’s front tyre had lost its air. Change of inner tube saw us back on the road to tea at Northala Fields. Jim’s front there was still losing air but pumping it up got Jim safely home where we said goodbye.
