Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Good morning to you
Good morning to you
You all in your places
With sun shiney faces
For this is the way
You start your big day.
Enjoy!
You cheated - you cheated! Skipped a whole section. Make a U turn and complete.
Good morning! Bad joke incoming... What's the difference between a well-dressed man on a bicycle and a poorly dressed man on a unicycle?
... Attire
How Egg McMuffins will the two of you eat in 10 miles?
Set your spinnakers and ride before the wind!
So, you're in Elgin before I got out of bed... standard!
"I think I can, I think I can, I think I can...." climbing away from the Fox river.
Past halfway, nicely done! And just over an hour off the road. Staying on plan is good. 14.6 average speed impressive, too.
Your RWGPS elevation map shows its not a flat as its supposed to be But, does it have as much corn as it should?
Hope you're dodging the rain drops. We've a few light sprinkles here.
We’re cheering for you!!
You are doing great!!!!
Looks like you’re moving again. Have a nice nap?
Nice recovery from the flat.
Make certain you refuel. You still have a good distance to go, even with the tailwind.
100 miles averaging 15.2 mph? Damn! I'd need an e-bike to do that.
100 down, 45 to go. Outstanding progress. Keep moving!
A century complete - big accomplishment
Over 100 miles! Amazing, you can do it!
Getting to the home stretch...maintain a good, steady pace, and you have this! And you should be in by 6!
Only a little over 30 miles to go - not even as far as Bluffington's and back. You Got this.
What an amazing ride, guys! Looks like you missed the rain - we had just a tad of drizzle on our ride to Waconda. Only 40 miles to go - finish the big climb, then it's all downhill to the river!!!
And now I see from the photos - you weren't napping at all just fixing a tire. Should have guessed
Robb cousin Laura says go go gadget!
You are making this look way too easy. 15.4 mph???
WHOO HOO! I hope the wind has been as good on the your backs as it looks in the weather apps! Now GO … GO … GO … GO … GO … GO … GO … GO … GO!
Ten miles to go. Anyone can do ten miles. Sprint Now!
Last fuel stop! Don't get cocky, but you should be in before 6, and rather easily.
"I think I can, I think I can, I think I can ...." up the hill you go. It'll be over soon.
You've actually increased your speed as the day has gone on.
Go Go the Mississippi waits
Pete. Stop doing squats. And don't drop Rob on the last hill, either.
It's the last big hill - Go Rob! Go Pete!
