Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Today was a foggy, cold day. I decided to do an indoor workout. I chose the mountain route today. I made it to the summit. I think I PR'd by about a minute. There was another guy on the same route of equal abilities as myself. I felt good today. I like this route because, by the time I reach the base of the ascent, I'm warmed up and ready to rock. I started modest and then picked up the tempo as the climb progressed. I was in and out of the saddle frequently alternating. I did some squats yesterday, my glutes were a bit sore, but un-noticeable on the bike. Concentration was good, some lapses. I'm still trying to get used to the differences from indoor and outdoor training. Mental coaching feels different as is the sensation from moving from one point to another, in terms of physicality. After summiting, I made my way to the volcano. It took me a while to navigate there. I found my way. After a quick tour of the inside, I warmed down and finished the ride. Other notes, I think there were about 750 riders today.
