Slabbed it back to avoid most of the rain Sweeper's Report for rest of group: Started off the day with drizzling in Leadville to Montrose over 270 miles. The weather finally caught up with us and drizzled the whole day but that was the hood part. We rode in a couple thunderstorms that really tested our rain gear! We went through Aspen and Snowmass and up to Marble on our way for some off road riding but Mother Nature had different plans. The dirt road we we’re going to take was a mess! Big ravines down the center from water run off. You had to use both side to get your way up then at top it was not any better. ☹️ went around to Kebler Pass which was a fun dirt road over to Crested Butte. Then made our way to Montrose to the hotel and car wash. What a fantastic week of riding couldn’t have done it with the excellent friendships that were made. Until next years out of state ride. Sitting in a hotel room in Winnemucca tonight and driving the rest of the way home tomorrow.
