Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Today's weather was nice and cool. In the low 50's, winds from the North West. I wore arms, knees, 1 base layer, 2 socks. When I got out, I thought to myself that I should have brought a cap. I was already down the road, so I didn't go back to get one. The cold was right on the rivet of being comfortable. Fortunately, the temperature remained steady. It was just the downhill that felt a bit uncomfortable. I cruised the downhill and reached the base in average time. I felt good going back. The cool (tailwind) felt good. Kept my body temperature where it needed to be. No heroics today. I was concentrating on landmarks, thinking of other stuff. My body was responding well. Concentration was spot on. Balance and form felt good. Ailments were next to none, but I did have a stomach ache earlier in the morning. Enough to require Mylanta as a remedy. Gear is working well, some creaking noises here and there. Other notes, no other cyclists today, to my surprise...
