Well, the typical spring weather continues. I was debating on where to go today. I decided to go out to WS and see how I felt on the return leg. Turns out that my right knee persists to ail me. Good thing is that, about the time I reached the end of OTR, the pain had gone away. There was a hint of soreness here and there, but nothing to detract from my effort. I had a cross-tail wind on the way out. I put it in cruise control, saving my matches for the return trip. When I turned around, the wind was there, but not significant. I was doing 15MPH-sh. I put in a good push over the last kicker. By this time, I had already decided to head on home and skip the addon(s). From there, it was fun and games back to the door. I practiced the super tuck position when I was on the return leg of OTR. From what I can tell, I have to put my chest over the handle bars to get any type of advantage. Not sure if it's worth the risk. More about that on future rides. Concentration felt good. I didn't have many things to think about, but I was enjoying the cool and clear weather. Ailments consisted of right knee soreness going out the door. Subsiding, as I mentioned, after about 20 minutes of saddle time. Balance and form felt good enough. Gear is working well. I used a bolt to secure the Gopro. Other notes, I stopped by the horse ranch on the other side of Route 202. I took some photos, will have to see how well they came out. I also saw a glider out near WS.
