Ranelagh Sally Gap Blessington Sallins

This time I was to have a go at the Sally Gap but at least as far as Glencree . Surprise surprise I got as far as the Gap, which surprised me (see yesterdays and the Blackrock Clinic) . But it was very hard and again I had to cheat by walking quire a bit , but at least I did it. It was a great cycle and very relaxing in a way . Not in a physical way but more in a mental way as you can forget it all. Just beside Glen Ding I got off the main Blessington/Naas Road and from there to Baltreasy was great , and very rough with grass growing in the middle of the road or track . Good cycle but I am exausted. 2684.60KMs done since 1st January 2023.

    Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices

  • TCX Course

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
