I was origionally going to go from Rathdrum to Cavan but I decided to do it the other way as the train times were more suitable . The only thing was that if I did not get the 4PM one from Rathdrum I would be waiting till 8PM so that was out , as Jennifer had the dinner ready at about 6PM. It was a very pressurised ride as I did not really have much time to look at the views which were lovely by the way . But it pisssed heavily for a while , there was thunderstorms , and there was also bad fog on the train there to Cavan. So I think I tried to do too much . At least i did not get a puncture . If I did , I would be going on the later train . The reason there were so few trains on the lines are because this was done on a Sunday and not during the wweek , when there are many more trains . Also remember the days are getting shorter. So not a trail to be copied. I went for something to eat in Hacketstown which was not pleasant as I had to have it so quickly and I did not enjoy it . Also I was drenched with the rain and hailstones at this meal . So not a nice cycle. 2888.3KM cycled so far . 69% of days since 1st Jan. 72.2% of distance
