This is another Portland Velo route based out of Liberty High School in Hillsboro. Slightly shorter than previous routes, but more climbing, especially early. The first 6 miles covers the usual Helvetia Road and Jackson Quarry Road. Came across a couple alpacas just after the turn onto Jackson Quarry Road. At Mason Hill Road, instead of turning left and going downhill, this route goes right for a 1.8 mile climb to NW Dorland Rd. The next 3.5 miles is a nice downhill, with only a couple tight turns. Still get to do the 1.4 mile Pumpkin Ridge climb to Pumpkin Ridge Drive. The next 5 miles to the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church consists of flats, but had to deal with crosswind. The final 15 flat miles is on Roy Rd, Wren Rd, Leisy Rd, Hornecker Rd and back to the start via Glencoe Rd and Evergreen Parkway.
