Sagebrush Steakhouse on the other side of the parking lot, pretty convenient considering the legs won't shut up. I think the church might have picked a better location. Loved the descent out of Blowing Rock, after the 2 x 1000' climbs RIGHT after the start, heading down into Happy Valley, part of the Yadkin Valley - 10 miles @ 5% avg, lost 2100' of elevation. Thought I hit 45mph, missed by a bit. My dog/villain pepper spray cannister, that I finally used for the 1st time in forever, bought it when it slipped out of it's tube holder, and the car in back of me ran it square over and exploded orange pepper sauce all over his R front tire. Hope no dogs try to sniff his tire before hiking their leg to mark. Can't get the ride to post to Garmin, maybe has to do w/ their server being down a while earlier? Hope I didn't lose it. Hotel is only 1.6 miles from campsite.
