Decided to try a different way to San Bruno Mtn. to get off the busier roads and I was very pleased with the route. My original route was prettier but Bob didn’t want to do the climbing (so I tacked some extra on at the end). 🤣
It was another day of "old money" peeping. There were a couple amazing modern homes on Forest View Ave. but most of the places we saw felt modest compared to Atherton or Woodside.
We had a lunch at a new spot in Brisbane, Melissas Taqueria, instead of our usual Subway’s lunch. It was pretty good. When they brought the chips and salsa, I could tell right away the red sauce was spicy. It had a fluorescent glow about it and there was a layer of oil on top and the combo just screamed very hot, very spicy. Bob's first bite, he didn't have to say anything, I could see it on his face.
I mentioned doing a little detour to go to Rolling Pin Donuts but then didn't mention it when we were near because I didn't get much of a response when I first told the guys. I could've used the boost before going up San Bruno Mtn. I was getting hungry just before as we were going by all the cemeteries. We made up for it by going to Dunkin' Donuts on the way back.
Also got to do the fully reopened Foster City Levee Trail. I don’t even remember how many years it’s been since the last time we rode the most recently opened section.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
