Gorgeous sunny day. 7 of us set off the usual back way to Cruikhowel, then along to Govilon and The Tumble. Down the other side. The over the moor between Ebbw Vale and Llangynidr. Then the steep descent to Llangynidr and Adam missed the tight left-hander and crashed. He was just behind me. I spent ages on the phone to the ambulance service but they eventually came and took him away. Don't think he's too injured. They took him to Abergavenny hospital so we followed. And that was the end of the ride. After the others left, I had nothing to do until Silvi picked me up so I went for a ride up to Llanthony Priory and back. Had a pint in the Crown at Pantygelli, then a half and a toasted sandwich at Llanthony. Absolutely beautiful countryside, and the ride up to Llanthony I'd wanted to do for some time.
