So, today was pretty effed up right from the start. First, there was the Meerkat eff-up. The tech showed up and informed Stuart an me that we must vacate the premises for FOUR HOURS! Unlike the second application involving a jell pesticide, this time the baseboard spray was indicated for whatever reason. Tech one, applying the same baseboard spray, said to return after 90 minutes! Great, huh? Such glaring discepancies with toxic compounds. And the ride? Pretty effed up!!! First, I felt like shit - weak and winded. Then, Stuart rode off, leaving me behind, and started up the killer Bearpen climb! No way I was prepared to do that. Lastly, I foolishly placed my phone in the breast pocket of the Gore jacket, it got sufficiently chilled to disharge the battery enough to engage low power mode, thus disabling backgroung app refresh, and only recording half the ride!!! Luckily, the Wahoo uploaded OK, and this file shiws the correct activity in all its glory (lol). Not a great day, made all the more challenging by the late, 1:30pm start, the icy, 15mph SSW wind, low fifties temps, and the uncertainty of Stuart’s fate for the extended time we were separated.
