Some of this route is rough sand and gravel. I used this app to select the routes to various points. I forgot to look to see if any of it was unpaved! Ben’s e-assist battery 🪫 ran low and we had to turn around at 20 mi out instead of going to La Quinta and back. Heat seemed to be an issue for him today also. He had to stop every 4-5 mi to sit or stand in the shade. Empathically I could feel his power drain in my body and even his pains in his right knee showed up in mine! His e-assist battery drained unusually fast, then, I noticed my phone was suddenly at 17%, then after re-activating my power bank, the phone charging ⚡️didn’t show up. I had to change USB ports twice to get power. We both arrived back at his SUV feeling like we’d ridden a lot further than just 30 something miles! Really weird 👁️🪫🆘⚡️
