Mt Jerome

I decided after 3.00PM to go for a bit of a cycle on the ordinary bike . The weather was a bit cold but at least it was dry . It had been rainig for the past week on and off . When I hit Leinster Road it decided to rain again and i went on as far as Mt Jerome and then to Mt Argus Road but then turned back and home i went . So a miserable cycle . I had a whiskey , the first one for ages . I have worked out that , to get to the grand total of 4000KM ,I will have to do 11.66KM per day , which is 81.63KM per week ,between now and the end of December . Its not that much . Against that , it would be much easier to do that in the Summer rather than now which is very wet and windy . It even rained and Hurricaned in lovely Leitrim where we went for our trip to do the basket weaving.

    Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
