Atwood Park MTB Ride 1-18-24

Fuel EX 9.8. Mostly cloudy with the sun poking through occasionally, cold but steady temp of 18 degrees and very little wind but the wind chill from riding was around 10. Heavy snow cover, freshly groomed and I was fortunate that a couple of fat bikes rode over most of the trails so they were packed pretty good. Gorgeous conditions.

3 trips on the Founders Loop, One full loop on Big Wheel, one trip around the inner and outer loops of Daisy Cutter then some trips on the snow covered park road on the North side of the Kishwaukee River. Tough pedaling to get just 1:20 ride time, pushing snow is hard work. I saw 3 shaggy deer.
