Check! Finally. I have had this on my bucket list since my first ride past Vulture Mine. I recall Mike saying "if you thought that was pretty heading south, you need to ride it going north!" I decided that someday I would do both! Finally I made this into a permanent, my 2nd ever. Today was my first time to ride it. Gorgeous temps 50F to 70F. Wispy clouds to keep sun at bay. Ah mother nature kept that wind blowing and it was about 15-20 mph on the return leg coming from E-NE. On the outbound it was a bit lighter and more from N. Played a game on outbound to count all the vehicles, going either way. My count was 83 up to Safeway turn. On the return, I chose not to do the count, since I was already disappointed the count was so high. yet even then, most came in bunches of 2-3 so it was a ton of quiet time. No messing around with food this time. Had a couple bars outbound and some dates on the return. No issues with cramps or energy. Vulture Mine Rd beauty never disappoints!
