The Plan: //ridewithgps.com/routes/11252113
For phone I redid blue tooth and pairing and this time got HR, cadence and speed to work. Threw away Phone recording.
Bonnie Adams (TdC) reintroduced herself at the ride briefing - seemed like a good person to ride with. But in leaving the parking lot I got separated from everyone (There were at least 6-7 TdCers, including Tim Wilson, Howie Davidson, 2 other guys, Bonnie)
Then Jodey O'Malley (formerly Harvard, now in town-lost e-mail) recognized me and we rode together to Skelton and got separated.
Julie and Glenn from TGIF were riding with Glenn doing lots of pulling on River Road, so I hopped on. I wound up pulling a bit and we eventually reached a TdC crew that was waiting at the Blinker in Concord. On Strawberry Hill Glenn and company went up faster than Julie could maintain. By that time WW Adena had hooked onto Julie and me and we rode on a ways - In Acton it turned out that Glenn's Di2 shifting was hosed and left him in the small cog, so he reversed route and headed to the start.
Julie, Adena and I motored on. On Taylor Road two fellows, who seemed under-fooded, came along. Julie offered them her supply of Skittles (they were asking about the covenience store at mile 35 or so) Westcott Road went up OK.
I tried to offer Adena some help leeting her bike run downhill on Oak Hill Rd and she was able to relax a bit. We stopped at the convenience store slightly off-route on 2A (saw Rudge, Marc and some others. Also TdC folks came thru, including Tim, Bonnie again and her partner [someone with diabetes])
Julie, Adena and I set out and were rapidly passed by several groups - we made our way back and picked up a TdCer, and eventually Bonnie. The 5 of us rode more or less together. Very late in the game, I gave Bonnie 3-4 Skittles but it was a while before they had an effect.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
