Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

When I got up today, I didn't feel like going for a ride. After having breakfast, I took my nap, got up. Kind of feeling the same. When I opened the blinds, to reveal what appeared to be a perfect day to ride. So I got my stuff together, parked, and road. The weather was perfect. I only needed arm warmers. Like a cool day at the beach. My legs were there today, but I felt lazy in the mind. The ascent went fast. Once I passed the Loop Monument, I put in my mind that I just had to put it into cruise control for the remainder of the ascent. My legs continued to feel lively, but still somewhat lethargic in the mind. Nevertheless, I made it to the summit in one piece and able to keep the power down, over the top. Concentration was good, despite the lazy feeling. Counting the gears and my breathing. No gremlins today. Ailments were none. Just exhaustion from the intensity of the climb. Balance and form felt good. Gear worked well, but I forgot to charge the Gopro, so no video footage today. Other notes, I saw 2 other cyclists today.
