Guiting Power (Hollow Bottom Pub)

A classic case where all riders in a group have a responsibility to look after each other and not leave it to the ride leader.

After being informed that a couple of riders were off-the-back of the group, I retraced to route to look for them. I did not see them as one had a mechanical and was waiting for her partner to collect her and the other had dropped back to the second of our groups on the road.

To my disgust, the group I was with did not wait for me but continued on. They were not at the next junction, so I had to chase hard to find them. I had no idea when they would realise that I wasn't at the head of the group.

It really pissed me off.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
