Ride to The Velvet Moose Ice Cream Shoppe on the New Hampshire Ice Cream Trail. Starts at NH's monument to vengeance and passes through several interesting places on a loop through Warner, NH where the shop and some other sightseer attractions make for a day out. Along the ride see the Hannah Dustin Monument at the confluence of the Merrimack and Contoocook Rivers, NH Veteran's Cemetery, Churches, Cemeteries, Blackwater Dam and other waterways, and Farms. Find the weight of a dragon fly, visit an undersea vista, eat ice cream, learn the history of telephones, find a good book, take in a solar powered concert, ride across the worlds oldest surviving covered railroad bridge, and around some painted bikes. There are plenty of places to eat, and even OTHER ice cream places. The worst of the ride is early on in traffic at the dangerous traffic circle on route 4 / Harris Hill Rd exchange, avoid this on River Road or other side roads if possible.
