Cayucos & Cambria, two coastal towns of "princely" perfection with Harmony in between. Yes, that's it. Actually, because this pedal ended up being 30.4, the Spin Doctors Series has now come to a close after, appropriately, Four-Thirties. What Time Is It ?, indeed! Bring on the 35's (five of them to stay consistent; this time named after first five Foo Fighters albums; call it the Sonic Highways Series...). But first, crank up Pocketful of Kryptonite ("Lois Lane, you don't need no Superman/C'mon downtown and stay with me tonight/Got me a pocketful of Kryptonite..."). A few notes about this ride: Didn't notice I left my helmet in the car until I got to Cambria. And by the time I got to Cayucos, it was infested with Summer tourists in that really awful overcrowded with The Entitled kind of way. Hightailed it outta there, but glad I was there picking up my mail in the morning when it was quieter.
