Perfect day for a century: started at dawn (5:40am) when it was about 60 degrees, no wind, and dew point in the 50's. Was careful to not go out too fast, and I was concerned that I would crack since I was feeling fatigued from 4 previous days of riding. Made sure to drink (Power Bar Perform) and eat (Clif Bars) in the first half. Stopped at 58 miles at Hollis country store by the library and had a breakfast sandwich. It was just so tempting, though I was concerned it would be hard to digest. Turned out to be a good choice. I never felt hungry through the ride. Made sure to spin at cadences above 100 and closer to 110 when possible. What a gorgeous ride. Stopped at Great Brook at 85 miles to fill water bottles and take a 10 minute break. Though my legs were tired, I didn't get any spasming and managed to keep a 17-18 mph pace on the relatively flat parts. Went through 100 miles at 5h 53 min, which was much faster than I thought I would do. Though tired, I don't feel shattered like I did on the solo last year.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
