East Cambridgeshire Road Cycling

Unnamed route. This was a route I did for Mark, but we never did it, as he wanted to include a mini loop for Malcolm, hence no name! Rare for me, today I bailed out after 80 odd, bloody soaked, and pissed off I failed to stop the Garmin at the Mildenhall pitstop on 71 miles. Hence real average speed of 16.5mph is logged at 15.9. Rain not forecast, but it started before I left, mostly dry after that until the last bit back through Snailwell, then more rain. Rain has again buggered up the elevation stats. For the record, I have today (15 Jan 2023) done the same route in clear conditions, and the elevation is showing as 2,881 ft.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
