East Cambridgeshire Road Cycling

Kimbolton route. Defy. This is an easy route but not so easy with that westerly wind, up to I reckon 14mph on this very exposed run. Bloody tough and bloody cold, despite a bit of sun. Wind helped after the turn at Glatton, but I struggled to get full benefit over the last 35 miles. Avg speed was 15mph on 70 miles, was hoping to hit 16s. Struggling with heavy cold maybe, plus that front disc might be rubbing. Stop time of 54 mins: pee outside Kim (5), Sawston Coop for food/drink (30), plus about 5 mins dawdling thru St Neots traffic, plus maybe 14 mins walking thru the stretch of the Haddenham Bumps that was closed off (rember the bloody cars going thru!)
