Not the best day! Was meant to be NMK Hilly 100, last 100 before clocks go back. However, got puncture on about 19 miles in Ousden (front wheel), then a second puncture after Stansfield on about 65 miles (rear wheel). Put on spare inner which was patched, this did not seem right so stopped again after the descent from Poslingford and replaced it with the earlier punctured inner which I patched. This seemed to hold, but amounted to a shed load of stop time: puncture 1 (24 mins), lunch in Glemsford (25 mins), puncture 2A (30 mins), puncture 2B (25 mins), so with daylight running out best to abort and head directly home from Clare, hence only 89 miles. Turns out the second patched inner did have a second hole!
