Merlin Cyrene. Partly sunny to mostly cloudy, cool but comfortable - high 40's to low 50's, Easterly winds @ 8-10 mph. East and North roads up towards Burlington and back through Virgil and Maple Park. Mostly flat route with a few moderate climbs. No other riders out but it was Easter. Also very little road traffic which was nice for a change. The wind slowed down the pace a bit but the ride back from the Burlington area was nice and fast, at least when I was heading West. Otherwise a head on wind or crosswind most of the ride. First ride on the Cyrene for a while with new tubeless Enve tires, new bar wrap, new chain and cleaned up drivetrain parts. Surprisingly smooth ride for skinny 25mm tires, low inflation being a big help. This was the last ride of March, 65 rides so far this year (all outdoors) and right at 1,500 miles.
