ETA classic ski P6-Champlain Lookout

Mild but felt cold with the moderate breeze. Very grey skies all morning; just starting to snow on way back. Fair to good conditions for most of the way, but poor conditions from t-jcn to Champlain Lookout: very icy and rutted (idiots skate skiing too hard when the conditions were soft). Parkways groomed for skate and classic (skins or klister seemed to be working for some). Good turnout of about 20. Long hard ski (did not follow workout). Building up the distance nicely. Speed data seems off. Quite a few times I looked at my watch and it was showing 0km/h. Only seems to be updating every minute? Not sure why (battery saver?).

  • TCX Course

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
