Unofficial ETA with lower than usual turnout (9 maybe). Most of the group went on to Renaud, but the slower skate skiers and the two classic skiers turned back at P19. Freshly groomed with fair to good classic conditions and good to very good for skate. Hard and fast early on; mush later. Violet klister topped up with universal quick klister at P20, although had to skate up some of the hills. Going down hills was interesting where the tracks were still icy in the shade and you would pick up a lot of speed, but when you got to a sunny patch at the bottom, your skis would slow down very quickly, pitching you forward. Lunch at le Oiseau Blue in the Meech Valley Motel (former Tulip Valley Motel). Excellent fish chowder. perhaps the last good skiing of the season, although we have scheduled another ETA for next Tue, the skiing will likely not be as good.
