ETA scheduled for today but heavy snow so left early to be there on time. Arrived early (09:00) to find I was the only one there. Checks Spond app and found ETA was cancelled, but decided to ski on my own anyway. First tracks on one of the most popular ski trails in Canada! Stopped at Shilly Shally to photograph very tame barred owl where I was passed by woman planning to ski Burma, so decided to do the same. Got passed by Dave Sherrard and Harris Kirby just after Khyber. However, I was so cold from taking photos that I stopped at Huron to light the stove and warm up. Just as I was leaving a school party arrived and thanked me. When got to turn off for Burma, it was clear that Dave and Harris had gone on to Champlain, so I was following the tracks of only one person (through and around snow drifts), until I met a few groups going the other way, so the tracks were then fairly well defined. Uneventful plod back to P7. Not many on the trail due to heavy snow on roads, which actually weren't too bad. Another section for the CSM Challenged (#5 - silver!).
