Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Had a major problem near the end of this ride and had to be rescued. My HR jumped from my usual 130-140bpm up to 200 very quickly. From a stand still at a junction, the light went green, and then my HR just skyrocketed. It wasn't a failure on the monitor either, as I could feel it pounding in my chest. I was only able to make it 2 more miles when I had to call for a pick up. I think it was a triple threat. Dehydration (as my output was nil when I got home, and I had drank over 4L of water. I also hadn't been using my electrolyte tablets, as I usually forgo those thru the winter, and save them for the warmer months, and mainly, I hadn't eaten well. I had a single bowl of chicken stew the day before (and did an 80 mile ride) and nothing other than tea, coffee and a single apple. I feel like I got hit by a truck, but all my vitals are back in normal ranges. Eat on your rides people! Drink loads, with electrolytes!
