TA 24 - Day 14

- set off late because I was trying to call the bike shop (broken spokes again! Grr)
- Did my chores in the morning like stock up on food
- Wanted to go to “a pub without beer” thought I did and then realised that I went to the place next door!
- Booked Whakohoro cabin campsite for $30
- Would have been a quick and leisurely ride but the WEATHER was horrendous and the rain had turned the grit to mush
- Was a few sun breaks and had lunch with a view!
- Arrived at Blue Duck Cafe at Whakahoro and the women said that I would never make my Jet Boat in time because of the terrain!
- Had to cycle 11 more km and im staying in the middle of nowhere by myself again and had to cycle in the dark through the rainforest (SCARY)!
- Currently writing this in my tent and i am scared because im all alone!

    Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices

  • TCX Course

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
