Great Blue Heron Adventure 🚶🏻🐶💨💦

Had time for a loop with Lola this morning and we survived! Lola was all too happy to chase frogs 🐸 this morning. Then a great blue heron flew over the pond and was squawking a bit. Of course Lola thinks she has a new playmate so she took off! 🐶💨

It was foggy enough for me to lose sight of her. I start jogging to look for her and low and behold, she comes running up from behind me, as if to say, “this is so exciting Daddy!!!”

The heron left us alone so I doubt there’s a nest this late in the season. It was probably just saying, “yo Dog, quit scaring my breakfast!!”
