Ray and George's RIde

Tom, Ray, Michael, and I started at LCC and met Ralph and Larry at the PVL trailhead. On Rt. 528 everyone but Ray and I turned around due to concern about rain. Ray and I did get wet, but took shelter at South River Winery. Spoke briefly to the owner while delayed by rain. After we restarted we got soaked anyway. I had some hypothermia on 528 but once on Rt 307 it was gone. By the time we hit the trail at Austinburg, the trail was dry and it was dry riding the rest of the ride. Ray and I decided to cut the ride short due to the 45 minutes rain delay, riding 90 miles instead of 100. We averaged 18 MPH, rotating 10 minute pulls.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
