Got the chance to ride to the beach with the National Austrian Olympic triathlon team! I gotta say, it's tough to spot Olympic athletes 40 lbs and 40 yrs and be a contender! Non the less, the ride was fun. It was mid 60s with a stiff breeze gusting out of the NW.
Heading east was not bad as we had a tail wind. When we got to A1A we headed north into the wind again. I got dropped along with the club member that organized the ride. None the less we finished only about 1/8 mile behind them, thanks to some traffic lights and construction delays.
The trip home started out really good as we were heading south with a tail wind. I kept the 2nd spot in the pace line to Spanish River Blvd when I noticed that we had dropped my riding partner, so I hung back and picked her up. We rode the rest of the way home together along with another guy from the club.
It was tough going back to the west, and we finished about 10 min behind the team. We then all went to Starbucks for some post ride coffee.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
