This journey was meant to be fron Drogheda to navan and then to Maynooth , but I could not find that journey on the H/Head when I looked for it when about to start in Drogheda. So , as not to frustrate myself , I then got one which went from Drogheda to Dundalk . But I was sure that I would get a seat on the way back as this was the long May BH weekend , and I did not want to stay in Dundalk for a night . I stopped in Blackrock for something to eat . Blackrock seems to have improved a lot over the past few years . A few years ago it was a dive but it has definitly improved . I went along the coast as much as possible which was nice and lonely most of the time and very narrow at times . When I arrived in the station I went into a train which was going to Drogheda all right but yet stopped at every station but I then discovered that there was another train for Belfast which was an Enterprise ; this only stopped at the main stations between Dublin and Belfast . Another thing was that this way , Northwards , I was going against the wind , which was a bit of a disadvantage . Also it was very cold for May . Anyhow apart from all these disadvantages it was a good cycle.And I am tired after doing just nearly 60KM.
