MHCC: Charlton Farm Land

The highlight of this ride will be a cruise down Randall Road, a straight, flat, low-traveled, rural road in Charlton that encourages cyclists to chat, if only to remark on the pleasant surroundings. We will traverse everything the Ballston Spa area has to offer: a few semi-busy commuter roads with good shoulders, quiet roads with sequences of gentle rolling hills, a bit of the Zim Smith bike path, and suburban roads along attractive housing developments. Start is only a 25-minute drive from Albany! START: From exit 11 of the Northway, head west on Round Lake Road for about 1/4 mile) to Hannaford parking lot on your left (45 Round Lake Road, Ballston Spa).

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
