First warm sunny ride! Gorgeous, lots of new places (and some familiar, like going up Pond Rd & having a lovely view of Lake Waban and Wellesley college). Hills were small, and the ride felt mostly flat (or up & down). Trees in bloom everywhere!
from Tom: "We'll ride from Weston Center on a paved bike path to Wayland. Then roads to the Cochituate Rail Trail that will take us to Natick Center. Then to South Natick and we'll work our way north back through Wellesley to Weston."
Ride Report:
It was another "Pick-of-the-week" day! Ideal weather for a ride in some western suburbs. Starting in Weston we headed west along the Mass Central Rail Trail to Wayland and on to Heard Pond for the photo. Then south to Natick and the Cochituate path, which took us toward Framingham. Then west toward South Natick and Wellesley. A combination of some busy roads and some obscure ones took us back to Weston. Fortunately a Porta-potty was available at an athletic field in time to assuage some mounting discomfort.
