It was pretty warm to start, temps around 80 and a little humid buuuut... yep, the wild blackberries are blooming and so cooler the next day (when this is written) and then a forecast for a high not even in the 60s for tomorrow. Then a few more cool days and then FINALLY regular warm weather after that. Coats can soon be put away. But oh yeah, the ride. Neither of us had ridden much in the previous 5-10 days because of rain, soooo much rain. So we took it easy-ish and tried to stay in the moment. And that worked for about 10 miles ... until it didn't. Had to stop for a minute on the last climb to get the heart rate down and re-gather myself. Was fine after that though it was also much more gradual climbs and a fair bit of pavement. Legs mostly felt good. Contact points good, though it wasn't a LONG ride.
