Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I have just one more training ride left before the GranFondo. I was planning on doing big double today. As I was making my way to SS, I decided to add WS Windfarms. So, I kept that in mind for the duration of the first half of the ride. The temperature was comfortably warm. The wind was cooler than the previous ride. I felt a bit sluggish to start. My right knee continues to be mildly sore. It never escalated. I was sufficiently warmed up by the time I reached Route 202. I approached Banducci Wall and the Alpine Forest just as I did on all the previous rides.Just keeping my tempo in check. My legs felt good at this point. After the summit, I took a moments rest, hydrated and assessed the battery situation with my electronics. All was going according to plan. I then headed to SS. No issues, just steady tempo with traffic mitigation. I bought some provisions at the local mart. Shortly after, back on the road. I made my way through the wind farms. At this point, my left outer knee became sore. It wasn't significant, but needed attention. I adjusted my tempo and carefully stretched. This with the mild right knee soreness, was mitigated. I also noticed mt right calf tightening up a bit, more of the same mitigation applied. CV climb went well, my legs felt good enough. I made the summit and headed to Highline. Recovery + traffic mitigation. After reaching Highline, I decided to stop at the summit and take a feed break. That took about 3 minutes. I checked the batteries and they were working as planned. Gopro 100% charged. Smartphone, sufficiently. Afterwards, I headed east on Highline. I took a quick bio break near the end. Then WS Blvd. It was dangerous. I was constantly looking over my shoulder. More traffic, as it was near end of work time, AKA, the commute. When I reached the summit I took a 2 minute break. Checking and confirming all was well with the electronics. Then the return downhill. It was dangerous just as much as the ascent. Suffice it to say, I was greatly relieved that I made it back to Highline. From there, it was cruise control. Keeping my head down, ticking over the pedals. And situation awareness. After that it was the trip home. Concentration was good. No serious lapses. Ailments consisted of mild right knee soreness, left outer knee soreness. Some tightened calf muscles. All of which did not escalate, perhaps via mitigation. Balance and form felt good. Gear is working as planned. Other notes, I saw 1 other cyclist today. And, thank god for making it through WS wind farms.
