Ride in was great. I felt really good on the two hard segments, but I'm kinda bummed about the section after Sunset. I was cruising along at a good clip and feeling great but the left two lanes were closed and everyone collectively lost their minds. Everyone forgot that they needed to leave the right shoulder/half bike lane free for, I don't know, cyclists? Nah several cars were as far over to the right as they could get and I had to just squeeze by. Oh well, minor thing in the grand scheme of things. Mixed it up a little coming home. Decided to continue west on Reunion to take Fieldbrook, Williamsport, and Alyssa Jade home instead of Anthem Pkwy. Fieldbrook and Williamsport made for good efforts, but I had a hard time keeping the power up on the later. I think that is largely due to me just being tired by that point in combination with the false flats. I'll have to hit it again in the future when I'm a little fresher to see what happens. Decided I'm heading out to breakfast tomorrow morning since I won't have time on Friday. I also have to miss the Friday Lifetime ride as well.
