Vine Brook Bike Path & North Street Pits

Conservation area just east of North Street/Adams Street intersection. Possible extension of Vine Brook bike path to the new housing development at North & Lowell.
The trails are rough, and wet near the ponds: leave your bike home!
Select map view at upper right: it's best viewed as OSM Outdoor, but Google Map & Google Terrain show trails going northeast to North Street (I didn't find those trails yet).
The contour line going around the ponds is quite steep and it's not clear if the indicated trail south of the ponds is high or low (I didn't find it yet).
The path through the water is a GPS error: I walked the same trail in both directions.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
