Shenandoah Century Ride - 59 miles

Shenandoah Century (9/8/2013) and Wednesday Night (9/04/13) rides combined.

Rode with Hank, Brent and Dave on Wednesday. 28 miles, 1:31 ride time, 18.4 average. Easy ride.

Rode the Shenandoah Century Ride with Dave on 09/08/13. We were planning to do the century but Dave was not feeling well so we called it quits at 59 miles. 4:01 ride time, 14.7 average, 61 - 87 F, N 5 mph, partly cloudy and humid. They had paninis after the ride and raffle prizes. We sat around and talked to Bill, Tim, Robert, Steve and Missy Patterson after the ride. We saw Ed, Everett and Jim before the ride.

Dave and I stayed at the same hotel as Bill, Tim, and Robert. We went to dinner Saturday night at a pizza joint then got ice cream. A good time was had by all.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
