24.10mi Wabash Riverwalk to Salamonie Dam w/ The Bikin' Bros

Seven of us Bikin' Bros loaded up our bikes and headed 60 miles south to ride the Wabash Riverwalk trail near downtown Wabash IN. Myself, Tom, Stan, Pete, Lynn, Ed, and his friend Gary followed the trail east along the Wabash River through the town of Lagro, the historic Hanging Rock site, and our turnaround overlooking the spillway of Salamonie Dam. Since Gary hadn't ridden much, the hills going to Salamonie were a bit much for him, so he, Ed, and Lynn followed him back to Wabash. The four of us that made it to the dam rode 20+ miles round trip. We then stopped at the Hanging Rock Trailhead for a short relaxing break along the shores of the Wabash. Our 9AM start helped beat the heat, and the wind wasn't an issue. After meeting up with the rest of the group back at our vehicles, we had a great lunch at Harvey Hinklemeyers in Wabash. It was not only a great ride but an EPIC ride! Stay safe everyone!
